Receipts:  1213    Last Week:  1421    Last Year:  1640

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows and bulls sold fully steady to 
firm, with spots 1.00-2.00 higher on the lean and high dressing cows.  The 
offering included dispersal of high quality young bred black cows and cow/calf 
pairs selling with very good demand. Supply was moderate with demand moderate to 
good for slaughter classes.

most 92.00-111.00, 3-7 yrs 850-1200 lbs 78.00-88.00, few 7 yrs to short solid 
950-1165 lbs 70.00-73.00 per cwt.

   Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  mostly 4-7 yrs 2nd-3rd stage 1000-1375 lbs 
1100.00-1375.00, high quality blk 3-5 yrs from dispersal 1600.00-1725.00; 1st 
Stage pkg 6 yrs 1250 lbs 1300.00; few short solid 3rd stage 1000-1100 lbs 
925.00-1150.00.  Medium and Large 2  6 yrs-short solid 3rd stage 900-1100 lbs 
825.00-1050.00 per head. 

   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2  5-7 yrs 1100-1400 lbs w/baby to 375 lb 
calves and some rebred most 1400.00-1650.00, dispersal high quality blk’s sold 
in lots 1900.00-1975.00 per pair, 7 yrs to short solid 1550.00-1625.00 per pair,  
few short solid to broken mouth to aged 1050-1100 lbs w/baby-200 lb calves 
1100.00-1325.00.  Medium and Large 2 pkg 4-5 yrs 900 lbs w/baby calves 750.00 
per pair.
