Alvin Kleiboeker

Alvin O. Kleiboeker, age 99, Stotts City, Mo., passed away on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012. Alvin was born Sept. 18, 1913 near Hoberg, Mo. to August and Hulda (Rusch) Kleiboeker.

On Aug. 10, 1941 Alvin married Alice S. Nelson and they enjoyed 65 years of marriage. Alvin was a lifelong farmer and cattleman and a life long member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Freistatt.

Alvin is survived by two sons, Donald A. Kleiboeker and wife, Carole, of Stotts City, David N. Kleiboeker and wife, Nancy, of Quincy, Ill.; one daughter, Karen A. Kleiboeker, of Monett; one brother-in-law, Dr. Roger Sifferman, of Springfield; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one brother, Lorn Kleiboeker, Wentworth.

Alvin was preceded in death by his wife, Alice S. Kleiboeker, his daughter, Christine A. Sifferman, and his son, Daniel H. Kleiboeker, his parents, two brothers, Hubert Kleiboeker and Martin Kleiboeker and six sisters, Elda Haunschild, Leona Gaulke, Meta Burkholder, Vera Kruse, Lorene Buescher, and Evelyn Schnelle.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 14 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Freistatt. Prior to the funeral service the body will lie in state in the Chapel of Trinity Lutheran. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Freistatt.

Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran School Scholarship Fund, the Trinity Lutheran Church Radio Broadcast, or The Lutheran Hour. Arrangements are under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
