Missouri Weekly Hay Summary Week ending 11/02/12
Friday, November 2, 2012
MO Dept of Ag-USDA Market News
The Missouri hay market remains fairly quiet. Neighbors are done trading
bales around and hay brokers are mostly fielding calls from out-of-state.
Several hay auctions around the Midwest are seeing upward trends on prices
in the last week and the buyers are just glad to see hay there to buy.
Supply in Missouri is light, demand is moderate and prices are steady.
The Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay directory available for
both buyers and sellers. To be listed, or for a directory visit
