Several options are available for Barry and Lawrence county residents to fill their needs to be frightened during the Halloween season.

Corn mazes

The Verona Haunted Corn Maize, located on farm road 1150, offers individuals the opportunity to "get lost" in the maize.

There are also family friendly activities at the maize. Children can ride the animal trains, go to the petting zoo or step into the boxing robots.

The maize is open 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, 5 to 10 p.m. on Fridays, and noon to 10 p.m. on Saturdays until Nov. 3.

The Exeter Corn Maze and haunted barn provides entertainment for the whole family. Located off of Highway T, the maze features a pumpkin patch, corn box, and pumpkin cannon to entertain the masses.

The maze is open from 5 to 11 p.m., Friday, 1 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, and 5 to 11 p.m. on Halloween Night.

Campbell's Maze Daze haunted corn maze in Clever provides another outlet for thrill seekers. Located on State Highway N, travel four miles to Carob Road, and turn east to the maze. The maze is open 5 to 11 p.m. on Fridays, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays, and noon to 7 p.m. on Sundays, until Nov. 4.

Haunted houses

Deadly Dungeons, a haunted house, located at 302 Clarke Ave. in Clever, offers patrons a frightening good time.

The Deadly Dungeons is open at 7 p.m every Friday and Saturday in October.
