Missouri Weekly Hay Summary Week ending 10/26/12
Friday, October 26, 2012
MO Dept of Ag-USDA Market News
Hay movement in Missouri is limited at this time. Sellers are either out
of product or holding tight to their supplies as we peer ahead to winter.
Buyers are feeling more confident about their ability to make it to spring
grass and have ceased shopping for a while. As is typical for the time of year
both the supply and demand for hay could change quickly based on the weather.
Prices are currently steady. The Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay directory
available for both buyers and sellers. To be listed, or for a directory visit
http://mda.mo.gov/abd/haydirectory/ or for current listings of hay
