Monett High School will host Aurora on Thursday, Oct. 25 in football action at 7 p.m. at Burl Fowler Stadium. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Regular season passes will be accepted, as well as Aurora season passes. Admission $4 for adults and $2 for students.

St. Lawrence Catholic Church Fall Feast will be held on Sunday, Nov. 4 at the parish hall, sponsored by the St. Lawrence Church Parish Council of Catholic Women. The turkey or pork loin dinner, with mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, salad, dessert and beverage will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children 5 to 12. The Seligman Lions Club will host a community dance at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Seligman Community Building. Frosty Garland and the Road Hogs will perform. Cost is $4. Snacks are optional. For more information, call 417-846-5355.

Barry County voters in Monett will vote in the Nov. 6 general election at the Church of the Nazarene, off Highway 37 by Farm Pro.

The annual meeting of the Purdy MFA Oil Company bulk plant will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 26 at the Purdy Community Center. Lunch will be provided. A financial report will be presented and delegates elected. For more information, call 417-442-3969.

Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will hold blood drives from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29 at Southwest High School in Washburn, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at Cassville High School, 1501 Main.

Berean Christian Academy is hosting a "party" fundraiser for Christmas shopping from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3. Products from Longaberger, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Premier Jewelry Designers will be offered.

The Crane Athletic Booster Club will hold a Fall Craft and Junk Bazaar from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3 in the Crane school parking lot.

The Monett Area YMCA will host "Lights On After School," from 5:30 to 7 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 25 at Central Park Elementary School. The free event will feature inflatable bounce toys, games and snacks. Costumes are optional. The event will help promote the YMCA after-school programs. The Barry County Area Retired School Personnel meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 26, at St. John's Lutheran Church, located on Ninth St. in Monett.

Liberty United Methodist Church will hold a chili supper from 4:30 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3. All-you-can-eat chili or stew will be served with a dessert and drink for $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 3 to 12. The church is located three miles north of Monett on Farm Road 1090.

The 640th Lawrence County Gospel Sing will be held on Sunday, Oct. 28, at Paris Springs Methodist Church, located west of Halltown on Highway 266 to Farm Road 1210 and follow the signs. All singers and musicians are welcome.
