Bobbie Richardson of Chamblee, Ga., formerly of Monett, Mo., passed away on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at the age of 93. Bobbie McIntire was born in the family farm house outside of Neosho before moving to Diamond and graduated from Diamond High School.

She is survived by her sons, Dr. John Richardson and wife, Karen of Chamblee, Ga.; Bill Richardson, of Noel, Mo.; four grandsons; two great grandchildren; a sister, Sara Bonitt, of Joplin; nieces and nephews.

She married Kenley Richardson and moved to Monett in 1944, where she lived until 2009. She was a founding member of the Monett PTA and served as president in the early 1950's. She was active in the March of Dimes; Garden Club and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She had worked at McGinty-Frohlich, Brownsberger's, Shoe Country and All-Star Sports. She retired at the age of 83.

Bobbie was a unique and loving person of many talents. Stained glass painting was one of her hobbies, but love of gardening may have been her best. She could grow anything and often times did. She loved life, her family and friends and was a longtime fan of the Monett Cubs sports. She played in a bridge club for over 50 years and enjoyed the competition. Mom didn't have many bad days. She seemed to take everything in stride, "Everything would be all right." Faith is something you can't see, but you can believe in enough to feel it.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, Mo.
