   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 2.00-3.00 lower and the bulk
of slaughter bulls sold 1.00-2.00 lower. A high percent of the offering went
to slaughter. The offering included a light supply of bred cows and only a
couple of cow/calf pairs were traded. Much of the area received two to three
inches of rain this past weekend. Supply and demand were moderate for
slaughter classes.

87.00, couple blacks 91.00&97.00.

Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  3 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd
stage 1080-1265 lbs most 1050.00-1275.00, some better quality black and black
white-face 1300.00-1375.00, 1st stage 985-1305 lbs 850.00-1100.00; short and
solid mouth to aged 2nd and 3rd stage 1125-1315 lbs 820.00-925.00. Large 1-2
2-4 yrs  2nd stage 1270-1412 lbs 1225.00- 1300.00, 1st stage 1390 lb indiv.
1075.00. Medium 1-2  3 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd stage few
805-1000 lbs 1025.00-1275.00, 1st stage 780-1000 lbs810.00-1050.00; broken
mouth 2nd stage 1005 lb indiv. 645.00 per head.

   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Very limited trade. Medium and Large 1-2  broken mouth
1155 lb cow w/baby calf 1010.00. Medium 1-2  5 yr 960 lb cow w/225 lb calf
1400.00 per pair.
