According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a westbound 2005 Honda Accord, at right, driven by Lynn McClure, 59, of Monett, crossed over the center line and collided head-on with an eastbound 2007 Chevrolet Suburban, seen at left, driven by Tracy O'Hara, 37, of Pierce City.

McClure received serious injuries and was transported to Freeman Hospital in Joplin. O'Hara received moderate injuries and her passenger, Colten O'Hara, 11, received minor injuries. Both were transported to Mercy Hospital in Joplin for treatment.

IIt was unknown if McClure was wearing a seat belt. Both the O'Haras were wearing seat belts.
