The Pierce City Branch Library has a display of whimsical teapots, on loan from patron Dawn Dixon. Dixon has been collecting since her teen years.

Upcoming events at the Pierce City Branch Library include the weekly Homework Hour at 2 p.m. on Wednesdays, story time at 10:30 a.m. onn Wednesdays and the Bookworm Club held on the second Wednesday of each month at 3 p.m. Crafternoon Delights Book Club meets at 1:30 p.m.every Tuesday.

There will be an all day stamping and scrapbooking workshop on Saturday, Oct. 20. Those planning to attend may stay all day or a portion of the day.

The upcoming book sale at the Monett Branch Library will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26 and 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Oct. 27.

The library has the 2012 Mark Twain award nominees, Gateway award nominees, and Truman award nominees for the 2012-13 school year. These winning titles are recommended reading for children.

The library is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturdays. For more information, visit www2.youseemore.com/blrl.
