Carnival games, inflatables, a magic show and plenty of delicious food will be offered during Monett Elementary School's second annual Family Fun Fest, which is slated to be held Saturday, Oct. 6 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the school. The fundraising event is hosted by the Monett Elementary School's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Students and volunteers with the PTO are pictured above alongside just a few of the decorations that will be featured at the Family Fun Fest. According to event organizers, the Family Fun Fest will offer concessions, including pizza, nachos and cotton candy and sno cones. Entertainment will include games, inflatables, a magic show, a science show and more family-oriented activities presented in a carnival theme. The PTO will be selling mums and pumpkins for fall decor. A silent auction will feature gift baskets from area businesses. Other events include a pie auction and a 50/50 drawing. Proceeds from the Family Fun Fest will be used for field trips, teacher appreciation and supplies for the school.
