Crop producers have until Oct. 1 to purchase coverage through the Noninsurable Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP), which covers low yields, loss of inventory or natural disasters preventing planting. For more information, contact the Barry County Farm Service Agency at 417-847-2111.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, located at 405 Seventh St., at 8 p.m. on Fridays, 7 p.m. on Sundays and 8 p.m. on Wednesdays. For more information, call 236-0216.

The Aurora Fibromyalgia Support Group will meet at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18 in the private dining room at Mercy Hospital-Aurora. Support persons are welcome.

The Pleasant Hill Special Road District commissioners will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 17, at the Pleasant Ridge School House, located on Highway Z.

A reorganizational meeting of Historic Pierce City will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Harold Bell Wright Museum, 404 N. Walnut. Anyone interested in participating in projects to preserve and enhance Pierce City's history is welcome to attend.

The third annual Cody Stephens Memorial Bullride and Barrel Race will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Freedom Arena in Aurora. Barrel racing begins at 2 p.m. with bull riding at 7 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6 to 12.

Kings Prairie Special Road District commissioners will meet at 7 p.m. on Sept. 18 at Grant's restaurant in Monett.

A spaghetti dinner will be hosted by American Legion Post #91 on Thursday, Sept. 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12, The cost includes salad, dessert and beverage. The Post is located at 717 E. Broadway.

Neosho's Patriot Day Parade will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15 in downtown Neosho. Thirty-one entries have signed to participate.

The Aurora Chamber of Commerce's annual Little Miss and Mister Houn' Dawg and Little Miss and Mister Beagle pageant for children ages 4 to 10 on Saturday, Sept. 15, at Pate School Auditorium. Little Miss Houn Dawg, for ages 4 to 7, is at 1 p.m.; Little Mister Houn' Dawg at 2 p.m., Little Miss Beagle, for ages 8 to 10, at 3 p.m. and Miss Beagle, for age 11 to eighth grade, at 4 p.m.

The Southwest Missouri Solid Waste Management District N will hold its executive board meeting at 11:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Grant's restaurant in Monett.

The Monett Band Boosters will have a tailgate party from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14 west of the main entrance to Burl Fowler Stadium. Hamburgers with chips, potato salad, cookies and a drink are available for $5 or a hot dog meal for $4.

Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University series will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 6 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Monett. For more information, call 235-7444.
