Missouri Weekly Hay Summary Week ending 09/14/12

Friday, September 14, 2012

Little optimism remains for most of Missouri's crops, with USDA showing an
average of 75 bushels of corn per acre and soybeans at 28 bushels per acre.
With temperatures close to averages and moisture on the ground the outlook
for fall pastures is improving. Hay supplies are light, demand is good and
prices are steady. The Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay directory
available for both buyers and sellers. To be listed,or for a directory visit
