The former city gymnastics center, located behind the Ramey Supermarket on Park Street, has been remodeled for use by school programs. The gymnastics pit has been filled in and an 8,000-square-foot carpet laid.
The Monett High School cheerleaders, shown above, have used the facility regularly for their practice sessions.
The facility is big enough to accommodate scrimmages by the entire football team during inclement weather and will serve as the home site for upcoming MHS wrestling practice and matches.
The second floor balcony will provide seating for viewing competitions.
