PC Library News 8/22/12

The Pierce City Branch Library has the Mark Twain Award nominees, the Gateway Award nominees, and the Truman Award nominees for the 2012-13 school year.

Storytime children's programming for pre-school children will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 10:30 a.m. The Bookworm Club, for teens and home-school children will be held on the second Wednesday of each month beginning at 3 p.m. on Sept. 12.

The Crafternoon Delights Book Club for adult patrons begins at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11.

New titles in adult fiction include: "Amish White Christmas Pie" by Wanda Brunstetter; "Sunrise Point" by Robyn Carr; "The Kingmaker's Daughter" by Philippa Gregory; and "The Inn at Rose Harbor" by Debbie Macomber.

One new title on CD is "Sweet Talk" by Julie Garwood.

New DVD's this week include: Camp Nowhere, Jesse Stone: Benefit of the Doubt and Dr. Seuss' The Lorax.

New youth titles include: "Artemis Fowl, The Last Guardian" by Eoin Colfer; and "Deadweather and Sunrise" by Geoff Rodkey.
