American Legion Auxiliary names officers, honors

New officers were recently installed for the Hobbs-Anderson American Legion Auxiliary Unit #91 in Monett. Honored for extraordinary service to Hobbs-Anderson American Legion Auxiliary Unit #91 was Nancy Shipman, for 70 years of service to the Auxiliary unit. She received a certificate of appreciation and flowers. A second certificate for outstanding service read: "Whereas Nancy Shipman has served as president of Hobbs-Anderson Unit #91 off and on over six decades; Whereas, she has been a dedicated member for 70 years, serving in many offices; Resolved, Hobbs-Anderson Unit #91 dedicates this gavel in the name of Nancy Shipman as a long lasting reminder of dedication."
