Special program on tap at the Mt. Vernon Branch Library

Monday, August 27, 2012

A free public forum on elder law, hosted by the Friends of the Library, will be the topic of discussion at the Mt. Vernon Branch Library at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 6.

Lois Zerrer, of Zerrer Elder Law Office in Springfield, will be on hand to discuss Medicaid asset planning, nursing home planning and guardianship and conservatorship questions from the public.

Zerrer has been practicing elder and estate planning since 1984.

Attendees are welcome to ask general questions concerning elder issues, but Zerrer asks that specific case questions are discouraged, due to each case's unique character.

The Mt. Vernon Branch Library is located at 206 W. Water St. in Mt. Vernon.
