The Silver Liners, a line dancing group from Pierce City of ladies from ages 61 to 81, made their public debut at Howdy Neighbor Days. The group performed five numbers. Their selections ranged from Roy Orbison's "Pretty Woman" to a 1950s mash-up, "The Last Cheater's Waltz" and "The Cowboy Charleston." The group rehearses on Tuesdays and Thursdays and received rousing applause from the audience. Dancers include: director Frances Simpson, Maura Sparks, Geneva Brown, Teresa Heeter, Mary Buchanan, Florene Towers, Carol Hirsch, Edna Angyl, Lynda Cline, Margie Jensen and Pat Kaiser.
