The Storytime program for pre-school children at the Pierce City Branch Library will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 12, following the Labor Day holiday.
The Bookworm Club, for teens and home school children, will be held on the second Wednesday of each month beginning at 3 p.m. on Sept. 12 at the library.
The Crafternoon Delights Book Club, for adult patrons, will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11.
New DVDs this week include: Sherlock: Season Two, Jock, the Hero Dog, and The Forger, Lady in the Water, It Runs in the Family, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Accused at 17, Who is Simon Miller, and The Great Escape.

One new mystery title is "Line of Fire' by Stephen White.
One new science fiction title is "Coup d'état" by Harry Turtledove.
New western titles include: "Blind Man's Bluff" by Jon Sharpe; and "The Omaha Trail, a Ralph Compton novel" by Jory Sherman.
New easy picture books include: "The Berenstain Bears and the Ghost of the Forest" by Stan Berenstain; "Clifford's Kitten" by Norman Bridwell; and "Brave;" "Rocket Writes a Story" by Tad Hills; and "The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore" by William Joyce.
One new book on CD is entitled "Fireproof: A Maggie O'Dell Novel" by Alex Kava.
