Sunby receives award

Tamra Sunby, Monett High School Vocational Agriculture Instructor, was honored at an awards luncheon on July 25 at Central High School for her service in agriculture education. The 2012 Missouri Vocational Agriculture Association honored Sunby with a Distinguished Service Award for her contribution to the service of agriculture education in the state of Missouri and her dedication as a teacher. Educators are nominated and chosen by his or her peers for each district. Sunby has taught agriculture classes and served as the FFA advisor at Monett for 22 years.
