An Aurora woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash that took place at 11:50 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, on Highway 60 in Billings.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the driver of a 1996 Chevrolet Corsica, Dee A. Adams, 45, of Walnut Grove, slowed in traffic and was struck from behind by a 1998 Oldsmobile Regency, driven by Tammy L. McConnell, 51, of Aurora.
Adams was taken to Cox Hospital South in Springfield with minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.
* A Wentworth man was hurt in a two-vehicle crash three miles west of Verona at 6:40 p.m. on Friday. Brett Falls, 46, was driving west in a 1997 Ford pickup on Farm Road 2220 when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with an eastbound 2011 Jeep Wrangler, driven by April Perkins, 29, of Mt. Vernon. Falls, who was not wearing a seat belt, received minor injuries and was taken to Cox Hospital South in Springfield for treatment. Perkins, who was wearing a safety belt, was unhurt.
* A Shell Knob man received serious injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 3:15 a.m. on Sunday near Viola. Christopher Fox, 27, was driving east in a 1994 Chevrolet pickup on the Fish N Fun Road, east of Viola, when the truck ran off the road, striking a fence and a tree. Fox, who was not wearing a safety belt, was taken be private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Berryville, Ark. for treatment.
