Fiegel, Wimsett named to JHA Board

Two new members have been added to the board of directors at Jack Henry and Associates. Jacqueline R. Fiegel and Thomas A. Wimsett have been voted onto the board as independent directors, expanding the board to include six independent outside directors and three non-independent directors.

"We welcome Jacque and Tom to our board of directors and are anxious to leverage and benefit from their extensive knowledge of the financial services and payments industries," said Jack Prim, chief executive officer of JHA.

"Their impressive backgrounds, experience and work ethic will enable them to make immediate contributions to our evolving business strategy and performance," Prim continued. "We are pleased to have filled these board seats with such highly qualified and enthusiastic members."

Fiegel is senior executive vice president and chief operating officer of Oklahoma-based Coppermark Bank. Fiegel joined Coppermark in 1976 and presently serves as director and treasurer of both Coppermark Bancshares Inc. and Coppermark Card Services. Fiegel has served on the Oklahoma City Branch Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Fiegel serves on several business and civic boards in Oklahoma City, where she lives with her husband, Christopher. She has been named Alpha Phi Panhellenic Woman of the Year and one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking by U.S. Banker. The Oklahoma City Journal Record named her Woman of the Year as a member of the community's Circle of Excellence.

Wimsett is the chairman and managing partner of Wimsett and Company, a payments consulting company formed in 2012. He is chairman of Town and Country Bank and Trust Company, based in Kentucky. With 29 years of experience in the payments industry, Wimsett began his career with National Processing Company in 1983, serving as president and chief operating offers from 1999 to 2002.

In 2003, Wimsett formed Iron Triangle Payment Systems in conjunction with Chicago-based GTCR, one of the largest private equity investors in the transaction processing industry. Wimsett also served as chairman and chief executive officer of ITPS, which was sold in 2010 and is now part of Vantiv.

Wimsett is former director of MasterCard's United States Region Board. and served on the executive acquirer council for Visa and the acquirer advisory council for Discover Card. He is on a board of advisors for the University of Louisville's School of Business. He and his wife, Rhonda, and their three children live in Bardstown, Ky.
