Three Purdy residents were injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 4:25 p.m. on Friday on Highway 97 about one mile south of Pioneer.
According to the Mis-souri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the driver of a 1999 Dodge 1500 pickup, Cynthia D. Lane, 29, of Purdy, ran off the right side of the road-way and overturned.
Lane and two passen-gers in the vehicle, Charity D. Emery, 37, of Purdy, and Luke A. Shonk, 9, of Purdy, were taken to Mercy Hospital in Cassville with minor injuries. None of the vehicle's occupants were wearing seat belts.
A Shell Knob man was seriously injured in a boating accident that occurred at 12:27 p.m. on Saturday at Kings River Point 22 on Table Rock Lake.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened when Andrew Bee, 24, of Shell Knob jumped off the front of a boat in which he was a passenger, operated at an idle by Charles H. Locher, 54, of Shell Knob, and was run over and struck in the back by the propeller.
Bee was airlifted to Cox Hospital South in Springfield with serous injuries. Neither boater was wearing a safety device.
