A Monett man was hurt in a single vehicle crash on Friday north of Monett.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Andrew Gurwell, 25, was driving north on Highway H in a 1991 GMC Sierra at 9:35 p.m. on Friday. Gurwell lost control of his vehicle, which traveled off the east side of the roadway and overturned several times.
Gurwell, who was not wearing a safety belt, received moderate injuries and was transported to Cox Hospital South in Springfield for treatment.
* Two Cassville residents were hurt in a single vehicle crash at4:30 p.m. on Saturday five miles east of Purdy on Highway C. Lane Stubblefield, 23, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado west when he drove off the road five miles east of Purdy. The vehicle went off the road, struck an embankment and overturned. Stubblefield, who was not wearing a safety belt, was ejected and received serious injuries. He was airlifted to Cox Hospital South in Springfield for treatment. His passenger, Lindsey Turner, 20, who was wearing a safety belt, received moderate injuries and was taken to Cox Monett Hospital for treatment.
* A Joplin woman received minor injuries in a motorcycle wreck at 5:30 p.m. on Friday three miles west of Exeter on Highway 76. Donna Hughes, 49, was eastbound on a 2007 Harley -Davidson when the cycle traveled off the right side of the road and overturned. Hughes received minor injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Cassville for treatment.
