JHA's Gladiator gains 100 customers in a year

Friday, July 20, 2012

The ProfitStars division of Monett-based Jack Henry and Associates (JHA) has secured more than 100 banks for its Gladiator NetTeller enterprise security monitoring solution in the past year.

Enterprise security monitoring helps banks respond to the demands of regulatory mandates regarding information security threats. The service offers 24-hour monitoring by Gladiator's expert security analysts who have extensive knowledge of the latest fraud trends.

The program helps protect against outside hacker attempts and unauthorized internal actions that can cause security breaches. Banks leveraging the solution regularly impress auditors with their layered security controls.

NetTeller is designed for banks using Jack Henry Banking's NetTeller online banking platform. The program provides an additional layer of security protection for banks to proactively defend their retail and commercial customers from online fraud. NetTeller adds security layers that help identify automatic clearing house and wire fraud and supports compliance with federal authentification regulations issued in June 2011.

Enterprise security monitoring fraud analytics enable banks to proactively manage threats by defining pre-emptive measures to track key events and flag items requiring immediate attention. The cross-channel solution monitors internal and online activities using behavioral analytics to determine if activity is expected and legitimate when compared to historic data and patterns.

The program uses automatic clearing house analysis to monitor suspicious transaction activity that could indicate fraud.

"The common theme that we see across dynamic security regulations is the need for solid, proactive planning," said Matt Riley, group president of Gladiator Technology. "We are experiencing a strong demand for our enterprise security monitoring solutions largely because of their comprehensive and proactive approach to cross-channel security.

"Our integration with NetTeller and Jack Henry Banking's SilverLake and CIF 20/20 core platforms enable community and mid-tier banks to better manager their information security, and gain more peace of mind," Riley added.

JHA's ProfitStars combines the company's solid technology background with the latest breakthroughs. More information is available at www.jackhenry.com.
