Monett-based Jack Henry and Associates (JHA) has received a contract for services from a major Texas-based bank with $16 billion in managed assets following a two-year search.
First Command Bank selected JHA's SilverLake core processing system to provide the bank and its subsidiaries with enterprise-wide automation.
First Command Bank, the bank wanted to find a versatile technology system that could be customized to provide a wide array of services. According to David White, president of First Command Bank, most of the bank's customers are serving from military facilities worldwide, making the delivery of services on-line a high priority.
"Our decision was also heavily influenced by the satisfied SilverLake clients we visited and the tenure, experience, and dedication of the company's associates that were involved in our evaluation process," said Sherry Sitton, executive vice president of First Command Bank. "We are very excited about the significant new functionality that SilverLake and Jack Henry Banking's complementary solutions will put at our fingertips."

In addition to SilverLake, First Command Bank will initially implement an array of Jack Henry Banking's complementary solutions.
