American Red Cross holds June blood drive

Thirty-nine people donated blood at the June American Red Cross blood drive held at the First United Methodist Church.Donna Beckett, bloodmobile chairman, noted that Sammie Dalton reached the six-gallon mark, John Howerton reached the seven-gallon mark, Jeff James reached the nine-gallon mark, Dale Gentry received a certificate for reaching the 12-gallon mark, Jeff Gates received a certificate for reaching the 14-gallon mark and Dave Beckett reached the 16-gallon mark.

Schreiber Foods provided cheese during the drive, and Ramey Supermarket provided the orange juice.

Those donating blood included: Madeline Ceselski, Peggy Sidelidz, Jeanne Swank, Donna Beckett, Heno Head, Judy Kitchen, Betty Moss, Rebecca Brown, Sam Dalton, Paul Lanning, Lucinda Vadnais, Lori Johnson, Michel Garman, Lucille Stoll, Charlene Dart, Julius Abramovitz, Paul Renfro, Eillen Greer, Latrisha Davis, Sue Doennig, Mark Nelson, Deanna Warren, Robert McGuire, Dale Gentry, Kris Johnson, David Beckett, Regania Petersen, Gorden Renfro, Jeff James, John Howerton, Sam Helmkamp, Denny Brown, Carol Brown, Gerry Bounds, Jeff Gates, Molly Johnson, Jessie Campbell and Ken Saloga.

The next blood drive will be held on Aug. 20 at the First Christian Church in Monett.
