Randy Branum, a life long resident of Monett, celebrated 35 years with UMB Bank, of Monett, on June 22. A reception was held at the Kyler location to honor the occasion. Branum is a 1975 graduate of Monett High School and son of Bill and Berniece Branum, of Monett. He attended Missouri Southern State College in Joplin for three years and began his career at UMB Bank in 1977. Branum is a PBR 3, new account specialist, at the Kyler branch. "UMB has been good to me," said Branum. "I work with a great team and everyone at the main bank is very supportive." Branum said that he prided himself on being able to get along with people. "I enjoy helping customers. They are not just customers, they are part of our success." Branum and his wife, Vikki (Nine) have three children, four grandchildren and one granddog. "If I were giving anyone advice on their career," said Branum, "I would say to enjoy what you are doing and always put your customer first. You must have a good attitude and put your customer first. Make a difference in someone's life."
