MO Dept of Ag-USDA Market News
Receipts: 921 Last Week: 1233 Last Year: 885
Compared to last week, slaughter cows sold 1.00-3.00 lower and slaughter
bulls sold 1.00-2.00 lower. Most all cow/calf pairs were split and all of
the bred 1st stage were sold per hundred weight, as the demand for take home
cows has been greatly affected by the hot, dry weather. Supply light and
demand good for slaughter classes.
