   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 higher and slaughter
bulls sold firm. There was a good supply of bred cows that sold mostly for 
slaughter, only a few cow/calf pairs that were not split. Supply and demand were 
moderate for slaughter classes.

1100.00, pkg of 2 yrs 1150 lbs 1200.00, few 1st stage 980-1225 lbs 900.00-1000.00, 
few short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd stage 1080-1150 lbs 840.00-910.00.  Large 1-2  
6-7 yrs 2nd and 3rd stage 1310-1395 lbs 1035.00-1075.00.  Medium and Large 2  Short 
and Solid mouth 2nd and 3rd stage 1080-1150 lbs 840.00-875.00.  Medium 3  2-4 yrs 
2nd and 3rd stage 715-735 lbs 475.00-500.00 per head.       

   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2  3-7 yrs 950-1300 lb cows with babies to 
300 lb calves 1100.00-1350.00.  Large 1-2  2-5 yrs 1300-1600 lb cows with 200-380 
lb calves 1400.00-1710.00 per pair.
