Receipts: 831 Last Week: 1260 Last Year: 868
Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00-3.00 higher and
slaughter bulls sold 3.00-4.00 higher. A high percent of the offering went
to slaughter. There was a light supply of bred cows and cow/calf pairs were
almost non-existent. Dry conditions and heat have reduced the demand for
take home cows. Supply was light to moderate and demand moderate for
slaughter classes.
