Carthage-Joplin Regional Stockyards: Cow and Bull Auction 6/13/12

   Compared to last Wednesday, after opening 6.00-7.00 lower slaughter cow
prices gained strength and the bulk sold 1.00-3.00 lower with a few high-
dressing cows selling steady. Slaughter bulls sold 3.00 lower. A high percent
of the offering went to slaughter. The offering included several dispersals
that provided a moderate supply of bred cows. The supply of cow/calf pairs
was light. Supply was heavy and demand moderate for slaughter classes.
