Couple to wed in July

Shawnna Lee Williams, daughter of Jackie Williams, of Monett, and Roger Williams, of Washburn, and Rev. Caleb Jeffrey Lines, son of Kim and Linda Lines, of Monett, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Monett High School and a 2011 graduate of Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in religious studies. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in social work at Columbia University School of Social Work in New York, N.Y. She will graduate in 2013. She is the granddaughter of the late Jack and Lynda Wendt, of Monett, and the late Leon and Dee Williams, and the late Pete and Mary Ireland, of Trenton. The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Monett High School. He graduated from Missouri State University in Springfield in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in religious studies. He is a graduate of Yale Divinity School in New Haven, Conn., where he received his master's of divinity degree in 2011 and master of sacred theology degree in 2012. He was ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in 2011 and is the associate minister at South Street Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Springfield. He is the grandson of the Rev. Hubert and Ila Lines, of Springfield. The couple will be married at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, at the South Street Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) with Rev. Janet Given officiating. A dinner and reception will follow in the executive conference center in Springfield. The couple will reside in Springfield.
