Flowers at the Pierce City Cemetery will be removed after June 15 for mowing purposes. Those wishing to keep the flowers need to pick them up by June 15.
A benefit for Keith Raley, who is battling cancer, will be held on June 16 at the First Baptist Church in Pierce City. A meal will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. The menu will include: Sloppy Joe or hot dog, chips, beans, dessert and a drink. The cost for adults is $5 and $4 for children 12 and under. A pie auction will be held at 6:30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by the Raley family. A drawing will be held for an iPad. There will also be a silent auction of art work donated by Becky Golubski and other artists.
