   Compared to two weeks ago, slaughter cows sold 3.00-5.00 lower and
slaughter bulls sold 4.00-6.00 lower. A very high percent of the offering
went to slaughter. The supply of bred and cow/calf pairs was limited in both
number and quality. Some producers in the area received rain over the past
week and a half and others are still in need of a good rain. Supply was
moderate and demand light for slaughter classes.

   Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  2 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and
3rd stage 915-1375 lbs 1050.00-1250.00, 1st stage 1035-1165 lbs 960.00-
1150.00; short and solid mouth 2nd stage couple pkgs. 1225-1260 lbs 985.00.
Large 1-2  6 yr 3rd stage 1480 lb indiv. 1210.00. Medium and Large 2  6 yrs
to short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd stage 965-1225 lbs 800.00-1035.00.
Medium 1-2  3 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd stage 965-970 lbs 835.00-
975.00, 1st stage 3 yr 920 lb indiv. 775.00 per head.

   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2  4-5 yrs 1030-1140 lb cows w/145-

claves 1175.00-1310.00, black white-face cow w/385 lb calf 1450.00. Large 1-2
