Monett High School students provide outreach during Volunteer Day

Monett High School freshmen, sophomores and juniors closed their school year with a morning of community outreach on Wednesday.

The annual Volunteer Day sent students to many locations, including Camp Barnabas and many churches to provide much needed labor on assorted projects.

Supervisor Amy Dixon directed freshmen Susana Salas and Janeth Serrano to wipe down hard-to-reach portions of the kitchen cabinets at the Monett Senior Citizens Center.
