   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 lower and
slaughter bulls sold 1.00-2.00 higher. The offering included a moderate
supply of bred cows and cow/calf pairs. Several producers made mention of
the need for a good rain to keep their pastures growing as much of the area
has a rainfall deficit. Supply was moderate to heavy and demand moderate to
good for slaughter classes.

   Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  2 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and

1350.00, 1st stage 1020-1100 lbs 1025.00-1060.00; short and solid mouth to
aged 3rd stage 1160-1270 lbs 990.00-1025.00. Large 1-2  4-5 yrs 2nd and 3rd

mouth 1100 lb cows w/160-200 lb calves 1425.00. Large 1-2  6 yr 1525 lb cow w/160 lb calf 1575.00. Medium and Large 2  2-6 yrs 895-1150 lb cows w/ babies
to 190 lb calves most 1075.00-1300.00, cow w/250 lb calf 1385.00. Medium 1-2
3-7 yrs 895-1050 lb cows w/babies to 290 lb calves most 1100.00-1300.00, cow
