The Monett Branch Library has several events planned for May.
The next "Teen Night" at the Monett Branch Library will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 17.
Teens interested in learning more about this year's Teen Summer Reading Club, volunteering at the library, and beginning a Teen Book Club that would meet at the library are encouraged to attend.
New adult fiction titles include: "Forever Hilltop" by Judy Baer; "The Innocent" by David Baldacci; "The O'Briens" by Peter Behrens; "True Sisters" by Sandra Dallas; "Secret Sanction" by Brian Haig; "The Wind Through the Keyhole" by Stephen King; "Where Lilacs Still Bloom" by Jane Kirkpatrick; "Breaking News" by Fern Michaels; "A Long Tall Texan Summer" by Diana Palmer; "The Witness" by Nora Roberts; "Come Home" by Lisa Scottoline; "Dorchester Terrace" by Anne Perry; "Unnatural Acts" by Stuart Woods; and "Rage of the Dragon" by Margaret Weis.
New non-fiction titles include: "The Ultimate Calorie, Carb, and Fat Gram Counter" by Lea Ann Holzmeister; "Your New Pain Prescription" by Sari Harrar; and "Hitlerland" by Andrew Nagorski.
New CD books include: "Courageous: Honor Begins at Home" by Randy Alcorn; "The Innocent" by David Baldacci; "The Forgotten Man" by Robert Crais; and "What Doesn't Kill You" by Iris Johansen.
New DVDs include: Book of Dragons; The Family Holiday; Igor; Knockout; Mission Impossible, Ghost Protocol; and Titanic: One Voyage.
