   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 higher and
slaughter bulls sold steady. A high percent of the offering went to
slaughter. There was a very light supply of bred cows and cow/calf pairs.
Fair weather forecast for the next week has many producers busy in the hay
fields. Supply was moderate and demand good for slaughter classes.

3rd stage 1070-1350 lbs 1150.00-1375.00, 1st stage 1030-1270 lbs 1085.00-
1135.00; short and solid mouth to aged 3rd stage 1155-1220 lbs 950.00-
1125.00. Large 1-2  5 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd stage couple
1380-1400 lbs 1150.00-1200.00. Medium and Large 2  5 yrs 2nd and 3rd stage
