Patricia Holle

Thursday, May 10, 2012

Patricia Ann Rusch Holle began her new adventure in heaven on Sunday morning, May 6.

She is deeply loved by her husband of 60 years, Erv Holle, along with their daughters, Tamera Holle, Ardrey and Dale Holle Troxell; grandchildren, Rebecca Ardrey, Bristal Ross, Moses and Sarah Troxell; and great-grandsons, Isaac Zachary and Bristal Ross, Jr.

Often regarded as a saint, Pat spent her entire adult life blessing others in selfless acts of compassion and love beginning with her three years as head majorette of the Mt. Vernon, Missouri High School.

An avid outdoors woman, Pat led Girl Scout Troop #242 for eight years and served as a district director of Tejas Girl Scout Council. In 1973, she and her husband took into their home, the Tich Truong family of 11 who fled a turbulent Vietnam. Pat worked hard in establishing the Texoma Lutheran camp in 1978 and 1979 and coordinated and administered John of Beverly Chapel for the Deaf ministry. Countless souls were rescued and aided through her counsel and generous support. There is now a painful void in her neighborhood, church, faithful friends and family.

Her 77 years of life will be honored at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 7611 Park Lane, Dallas, Texas, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 11. A reception will follow. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home, 10501 Garland Road in Dallas, Texas.

Memorials may be made in behalf of John of Beverly Chapel for the Deaf at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
