Berean competes at MAACS

Berean Christian Academy in Monett recently participated in the Mid-America Association of Christian Schools (MAACS) Academic and Fine Arts competition, which was held two different weeks in Independence. Twenty-six Christian schools from the Midwest participated. Berean brought home the following honors: a first place medal in elementary science earned by Faith Brittenham; a second place medal in expository preaching by Jeremiah Cole Howerton; and third place in junior high history and geography by Matthew Connor Anderson. Those who received honorable mention were Jonathan Kirkland, still life photography, and Remington Sanders, landscape photography. Students who participated are pictured above. They are Jonathan Kirkland, Kayla Bounous, Taylor Dill, Jessica Smith, Shelby Jack, Chase Jack, Cole Howerton, Connor Anderson, Noah Cullers, Faith Brittenham, Lexi Keeling, Remington Sanders and Drew Howerton.
