Four people were injured in three separate wrecks that occurred since Monday.
Samantha L. Bowerman, 26, of Monett, sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 3:15 p.m. on Monday on Farm Road 1072 about one mile west of Butterfield when the 2002 Chevrolet Camaro she was driving ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
Bowerman was taken to Cox Hospital South in Springfield. She was wearing a seat belt.
* Two Barry County women were injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 11:18 a.m. on Tuesday on Highway 37 about a mile north of Cassville. The crash occurred when the driver of a 1995 Chevrolet 1500, Christina M. Myers, 49, of Washburn, failed to yield to a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer, driven by Mary L. Forrester, 34, of Cassville. Forrester and a passenger in the Myers vehicle, Shawnda K. Miller, 30, of Exeter, both sustained minor injuries and were taken to Mercy Hospital in Cassville. Miller and Myers were not wearing seat belts; Forrester was.
* A Cassville man was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday on Farm Road 2165 about one mile east of Cassville. The crash occurred when the driver of a 2003 Ford F150, Caleb E. Ross, 23, of Cassville, crossed the center line and struck a 1993 Grumman Allied Mail Carrier, driven by Dale K. Newby, 58, of Cassville, head-on. Newby was taken by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Cassville with minor injuries.
