The next Wii gaming event will be held at the Monett Branch Library on Thursday, May 10 at 4 p.m. All ages are invited to participate.

Congratulations go out to the winners of the bookmark design contest held during National Library Week. The winning design for the 5-to-8 category was created by Sofia Semerad and the winning design for 9-to-12 category was created by Maggie Lauderdale. Bookmarks featuring their designs are now available at the Monett Branch Library.

New adult fiction titles available at the Monett Branch Library include: "Eye of the Storm" by Hannah Alexander; "The Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Club" by Wanda Brunstetter; "Clair de Lune" by Jetta Carleton; "Calico Joe" by John Grisham; "The Convenient Groom" by Denise Hunter; "Sixty Aces and a Bride" by Regina Jennings; "The Fiddler" by Beverly Lewis; "The Chase" by DiAnn Mills; "Come Home" by Lisa Scottoline; "Chasing Midnight" by Randy Wayne White; and "Capitol Murder" by Phillip Margolin.

New non-fiction titles include: "The Mind" by Richard Restak; "Overcoming Thyroid Disorders" by David Brownstein; and "Deliciously G-Free" by Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

New youth titles include: "The Fame Game" by Lauren Conrad; "Switched" by Amanda Hocking; and "The Dead of Night" by Peter Lerangis.

New DVDs include: The Iron Lady; Rio Bravo; and Secrets of the Titanic.
