The 25th annual St. Mary's Old-Fashioned Festival will be held on Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3 on the church grounds in Pierce City. On Saturday, festivities will begin at 5 p.m. and on Sunday, the celebration begins at 11 a.m.
There will be inflatable bouncers for children and a beer garden for adults on both days. Other activities include a trash and treasure booth, a country store, a purse and jewelry auction, and food stands.
On Saturday, Evelyn Lock and The Outriders will perform a variety of classic western, western fling and old time rock and roll.
Chicken and beef dinners will also be available for purchase and served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Sunday. Cost of the meal is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6-12. Children under the age of 6, who are accompanied by a parent, may eat for free. Handicapped seating is available.
On Sunday, bingo will begin at 12:30 p.m. and duck races on Clear Creek will begin at 4 p.m. Other activities on Sunday include: children's games; a cake walk; and homemade ice cream.
A drawing for a $1,000 cash prize will take place at 8 p.m. on Sunday. The winner need not be present to win.
In conjunction with the event, Mass will be offered at 4 p.m. on Saturday and at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
