MO Dept of Ag-USDA Market News
Receipts: 370 Last Week: 501 Last Year: 397
Compared to last Monday, fat breaking slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00
lower while boning and lean cows sold 1.00-2.00 higher and slaughter bulls
sold steady to 1.00 higher on a light supply. Lack of demand for fat continues
to hold back prices for the breaking cows. The offering of bred cows and cow/
calf pairs was light. Supply was light and demand moderate to good
for slaughter classes.
