Ozark Festival Orchestra concert is Sunday

The Ozark Festival Orchestra is holding final rehearsals this week for the 13th annual Young Artists Concert, which will be held at 3 p.m. this Sunday in the Monett City Hall Auditorium. Senior division winner Emily Campbell, a student of John Archer, will play the opening movement to Mozart's Piano Concerto #13 under the baton of music director Ken Meisinger. Junior division winner Harry Kime will play the finale to a piano concerto by Haydn.

Works by Purcell and J.C. Bach will also be performed.

Admission is $5 for adults. Children are admitted free. A reception for the solists will follow the concert in the auditorium.

The Young Artists Concert is underwritten in part by the Barry-Lawrence Area United Fund, expanding opportunites for young people.
