The Purdy Eagles baseball team continues to rack up victories. On Friday, the Eagles improved to 12-2 with a 6-2 victory over East Newton.

"I am proud of the boys," said Purdy coach Joshua Hughes. "We did the little things right tonight to get the win. We must keep this momentum going if we want to reach our goals."

The Eagles scored a pair of runs in the first off a Cody Hall double. The Patriots hung tough, scoring a run in the bottom of the first and second innings to tie the game 2-2.
