Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 4:30 p.m. yesterday on County Road 2060 about two miles southeast of Purdy.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the driver of a 1997 Chevrolet Astro van, Lillis A. Taylor, 77, of Washburn, made a left turn out of a private drive and struck a 2005 Toyota Corolla, driven by Sarah E. Davis, 33, of Monett, head on.
Taylor and a passenger in the vehicle, James R, Taylor, 88, of Washburn, were taken to Cox Hospital South in Springfield with moderate and minor injuries respectively. Davis was taken to Cox Monett Hospital with minor injuries.
All parties involved in the crash were wearing seat belts.
An Aurora teen was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 9:20 p.m. on Monday on County Road 1210 about three-10ths of a mile south of Aurora. The crash occurred when the driver of a 2004 Ford F150, Jacob M. Hedrick, 17, of Aurora, ran off the roadway and overturned. Hedrick was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt.
