John David Boucher, age 68, of Monett, Mo. passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Cox Monett Hospital. He was born on Dec. 26, 1943 in Aurora, Mo., the son of the late Enoch and Ruth (Lautaret) Boucher.
John served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Viet Nam War.
John was employed for many years as a flooring specialist. He was a member of the Waldensian Presbyterian Church and V.F.W. Post #4207.
|John is survived by a son, Jonathan Isaac Boucher, of Columbia, Mo.; four sisters, Patricia Johnson and husband, Charles, of Verona, Mo., Janice Hinchion and husband, Frank, of Denver, Colo., Ann Caraway, of Monett, Mo. and Mary Jack and husband, Terry, of Ft. Worth, Texas; 18 nephews and nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.||He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nancy Crow.|
|Funeral services for Mr. Boucher will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 20 at the Buchanan Funeral Home Chapel. Interment and military honors will be at the Waldensian Cemetery.||Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice Compassus in care of the funeral home.||Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, Mo.|
