Bi-county wrecks leave three injured

A Cassville man was injured in a three-vehicle crash that occurred at 9:35 a.m. on Sunday on Highway 60 about one mile west of Monett.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the driver of a 1995 Toyota Tacoma, Musae Thao, 19, of Cassville, collided into a 2003 Saturn, driven by Mary K. Waltrip, 46, of Monett, while the vehicle was stopped in the roadway. The impact caused the Waltrip vehicle to collide with a 2002 Jeep Liberty, driven by Brandon S. Heupel, 36, of Granby.
Thao was taken by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Cassville with minor injuries.
All of the drivers were wearing seat belts.
* Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that took place at 5:38 p.m. on Saturday on Highway 14 about one mile north of Marionville.
The crash occurred when the driver of a 1971 Chevrolet C10 pickup, Jeffrey B. Stewart, 36, of Marionville, pulled out of a private drive turning south of Highway 14 and crossed into the northbound lane, striking a 2010 Ford F150, driven by Roger L. Head, 87, of Marionville, head-on.
Stewart was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries. Head was transported by private vehicle to seek his own treatment of minor injuries incurred in the wreck.
Head was wearing a seat belt; Stewart was not.
